Both blade and base are machined from a single aluminum block which results in a more accurate square. The handle and square are assembled together using 2 chrome hardened steel pins for superior rigidity and alignment. This square is anodized for increased durability, with laser engraved inch scale markings for general marking and measuring reference. It includes a custom fitted MDF case that not only holds the square, but also protects it when not in use.
